This old horse has been in the market for more than 40 years. The recent upgrade is the 4th generation in the market. The first Range Rover was not changed for almost two decades and this is where one can easily judge the success story of this SUV. But the basic competitive features are always kept alive during every phase of its development. This is why still this one is hard to compete with the rivals are nowhere to be found near it. The powerful engines

That amazing performance which comes from the engines of this vehicle is amazing. And this power has never been less in any of its age. For the standard fitting, there is a 3.0-litre V-6 petrol engine with 340 hp and 380 hp. Then there is an option in the same capacity, which is good enough for 254 hp. Moving towards the diesel there is a 5.0-litre V8 engine having 518 hp. 

For the same engine, there is also a 557 hp. All these engines are backed up by an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive is standard throughout the range. It is basically a luxury sports SUV, there is a luxury and there is a performance of a sports car. Range Rover reconditioned automatic gearbox is available which is a very handy offer. You can replace it any time you feel the older one is not working up to mark.

Features available

Range Rover is a well-equipped SUV and there is a healthy list of standard features. With all the routine ones there are also many others. The list includes Terrain response driving mode16-way heated front seats, three-zone climate control, DRL signature LED lights, Touch Pro Duo infotainment system has a rotary control and navigation. Then there is also a power-operated gesture tailgate, electrically adjusted steering wheel and interior ambient lighting. 

The higher trims also have a cooling system in addition to heating for the seats. The wheel size increase according to the level also. Wi-Fi hotspot and a head-up display also add up. There are also two 10.0 inch screens present and the upper one can also be adjusted to avoid glare and make the right angle for vision.

Safety side also comes with really useful assistants

There are some standard and many optional safety gadgets which is a not so good thing if you cannot spend more. As standard, there is a lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and adaptive cruise control with speed limit warning? 

For the optional side, there is a Driver Pro pack which includes high-speed emergency braking, blind spot assist, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control with automatic stop/go. For the parking package there is a 360-degree camera, Reverse traffic monitor, clear exit monitor, park assist and a self-parking system. You can aid with these packages more for the safety side.
